Cecil Rhonda Reece September 28, 1944 – March 27, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Cecil Rhonda Reece, 74, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the Cornerstone Village, Johnson City. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late William Eart & Okie Opal Campbell Reece. He was a former employee of North American Rayon Corporation.

He attended Eternal Life Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Carroll Ray Reece, a daughter Linda Kay Reece and a brother Richard Reece. Survivors include his children: Rebecca Mayse, Johnson City, William L. Reece, Butler, James R. Reece & wife Edith, Cecil Allen Reece & girlfriend: Meloney, Hubert E. Reece & Wife Dawn and Mark Reece, all of Elizabethton.

Five Sisters: Elwanda Shupe, Martha Vines, Sherry Hicks, Anita Blackwell, and Karen Yates. Four Brothers: V.W., Bobby, Wayne and Leonard Reece. Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

His ex-wife: Kelly Reece. Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday in Memorial Funeral Chapel. Music will be provided by Margaret Calderon and Bill Smith.

Graveside Service and Interment will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019 in the Reece Cemetery, Butler. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 12 Noon Saturday will be: David Reece, Charles Mayse, Terry Mann, Sonny Parlier and David Parlier. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Friends may also visit with the family at the residence of Kelly Reece, 112 S. Watauga Avenue, Apt. 2, and Elizabethton. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12 Noon Saturday to go to the cemetery.
