Obituary for Ceecy Mitchell Ceecy Mitchell, 60, died Monday, June 11, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey. Born July 20, 1957, in Sumter, she was a daughter of Adelaide Smith Blocker and the late Robert Gene Watson. Survivors include her mother of Sumter; two sons, Luke Mitchell of Alabama and Tyler Gene Cone of Sumter; a grandson, Jase Mitchell; two sisters, Denise Mooney (Jim) of Lake Wales, Florida and Traci Blocker Rogers (Darryl) of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bert and Pearl Jayroe Smith; and her step-father, Clint J. Blocker, Jr. A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in the Concord Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Rowton officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Memorials may be made to Lemira Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1333, Sumter, SC 29154-1333 or Concord Presbyterian Church, 3500 E. Brewington Rd. , Sumter, SC 29153. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
