La amada madre, hermana, tía, compañera y amiga de Celia Solis Rodríguez falleció pacíficamente el 8 de febrero de 2019. Celia nació en Durango, México, el 2 de junio de 1943. Le encantaba ser uno de los trece hijos.

Siempre había un compañero de juego cerca. Celia era una cuidadora, cuidando de sus hijos, nietos, sobrinos. Cada vez que visitó México siempre tenía una bolsa de barras de caramelo de Hershey para pasar a todos los niños.

Celia amaba ir a Puerto Vallarta para visitar a su hermana y disfrutar de la playa. Otro punto culminante de su vida fue un viaje sorpresa a Disneyland. Tenían mucho explorando el parque, jugando con personajes y montando los paseos.

Su familia amaba su cocina, especialmente su Chile rellenos espaguetis verdes y tacos fritos. A Celia también le encantaban las flores, especialmente rosas, orquídeas y Gladiolas. Celia se une en el cielo a sus padres; seis hermanos; hija María Jesús Iturrios, y los hijos Gustovo y Norberto Salazar Solís.

A Celia le sobreviven el amor de su vida, José Guadalupe Carreno; hija Laura Salazar Solis; nietos Guillermo González, Jorge González, Marcela Zamarripa, Maria denice Zamarripa y Diana corral; seis grandes nietos; y hermanos Guadalupe Rodríguez, José Cruz Rodríguez, Eteban Rodriguez, Angelica Rodriguez y Maria Medina. Celia será extrañamente perdida por todo lo que la conocía y la amaba. Celia Solis Rodriguez beloved mother, sister, aunt, partner and friend passed peacefully away on February 8, 2019.

Celia was born in Durango Mexico on June 2, 1943. She loved being one of thirteen children. There was always a playmate close.

Celia was a caregiver, taking care of her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Anytime she visited Mexico she always had a bag of Hershey’s candy bars to pass out to all the children. Celia loved going to Puerto Vallarta to visit her sister and enjoy the beach.

Another highlight of her life was a surprise trip to Disneyland. They had so much exploring the park, playing with characters and riding the rides. Her family loved her cooking, especially her Chile Rellenos, green spaghetti, and fried tacos.

Celia also loved flowers especially pink roses, orchids and gladiolas. Celia joins in heaven her parents; six siblings; daughter Maria Jesus Iturrios, and sons Gustovo and Norberto Salazar Solis. Celia is survived by the love of her life, Jose Guadalupe Carreno; daughter Laura Salazar Solis; grandchildren Guillermo Gonzalez, Jorge Gonzalez, Marcela Zamarripa, Maria Denice Zamarripa and Diana Corral; six great grandchildren; and siblings Guadalupe Rodriguez, Jose Cruz Rodriguez, Eteban Rodriguez, Angelica Rodriguez and Maria Medina.

Celia will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
