Obituary for Charles A. Johnson Charles A. Johnson, 75, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 02, 2018 at Saint Francis Medical Center. He was born February 1, 1943 in Mountain Home, Idaho to the late Thomas and Ollie (Adams) Johnson. Charles was a Master Firefighter and Paramedic with the City of Cape Girardeau Fire Department for 28 years.

He was in the first paramedic class in the state of Missouri. Survivors include his former wife, Barbara Johnson of Cape Girardeau; four children, Chris Johnson, Michele (Terry) Campbell, Joey (Lori) Johnson all of Jackson, Missouri, Susan (Billy) O’Kelly of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leroy and Otis Johnson.

A celebration of life will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 at the chapel at St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau with Father John Harth officiating.
