Charles Bouma, 91 of Penn Township passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018. He was born July 30, 1927 in Turtle Creek, son of the late Charles Bouma Sr. and Ann Rubash Bouma. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the U. S. Navy.

He was a retired employee of General Motors with over 38 years of service. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Schaffer and Gladys Sell; a grandson, Jeffrey Gillen and a son-in-law, Michael Gillen. Charles is survived by his wife of 71 years, Emily Ann Ferdi Bouma; three children, Bonnie Gillen of Penn Township, Dr. Lawrence Bouma and Rhonda of Indiana, a daughter-in-law, Tricia Bouma of Indiana and Sheryl (Robert) Fedore of Penn Township; six grandchildren, Michelle (Patrick) McManus, Denise (Michael) Caralli, Robert (Katy) Fedore, Jason Fedore, Brian (Renee) Fedore and Jennifer (Cody) Bowers; 12 great grandchildren and also their beloved dog, “Shelby”.

Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Murrysville Alliance Church. Additional visitation Wednesday 9 to 10 a.m. at the church with a funeral service at 10 a.m. with Pastor Dan Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
