Charles (Chuck) Edward King, 80, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2018 in Lansing, MI. He was born June 21, 1938 in Hillsdale, MI, son of Claude and Dorothy (Mills) King. Chuck retired as VP of Consumer Lending for Comerica and served in the Army National Guard; he taught a Consumer Lending class at LCC, worked at Shaheen Chevrolet for 20 years, and was past president of the Downtown Coaches Club.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet, daughter Rene Brown, grandchildren Lauren (Michael) Snyder and Lindsay (Tyler) Smith; great grandchild, Knox Smith, and another grandson on the way, and sister Sally (Olin) Baughman with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at South Church, 5250 Cornerstone Dr., Lansing, MI 48917.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 8th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home in Grand Ledge and also at the church Friday from 10-11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the South Church or Hospice House of Mid-Michigan.
