Charles “Chuck” Fountain, age 58, of Rentz, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Mr. Fountain was a native of Laurens County and loved farming. He was a good daddy and granddaddy, and loved to hunt and fish.

Chuck enjoyed “cutting up” and making others laugh. Mr. Fountain was so willing to help people he would gladly give his shirt off his back to any and everybody. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah M. Fountain; mother, Patricia Fountain; and brother, Mark Fountain.

Survivors include his children, Dan Fountain, of Palm Beach, FL; Ashley Graham (Brenton), of Jacksonville, FL, and Brandon Michael Fountain and Stephen Tyler Fountain (Jessica), both of Rentz; father, LaRue Fountain (Sue), of Rentz; brother, Mike Fountain (Diane), of Lawrenceville; sister, Cindy Savant (Dusty), of Rentz, and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Rentz Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Rentz City Cemetery. Rev. Tom Van, Rev.

Grady Mimbs, and Rev. Harrison Jones will officiate. Pallbearers will be Josh Savant, Jake Savant, Craig Haywood, Dennis Owens, Matt Davis, and Curtis Weaver.
