Randal Ross Brown, age 73, of Cadwell, passed away at his home on March 5, 2019. Mr. Brown was a lifelong resident of Laurens County. After attending Dublin High School, Mr. Brown enlisted in the United States Army.

After honorable discharge from the Army, Mr. Brown married Glenda Mullis. They had one daughter, Susan Brown and were married forty-eight years. Mr. Brown will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend.

Graveside services will be held at Reedy Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Cadwell at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 7, 2019, followed by lunch at Antioch Baptist Church in Dexter. The family request casual dress. For constant support during his lengthy illness, a special thanks to Freeman Mimbs, Jr., Marydale Scoggins, Faye Howard, James and Mary Bedingfield, and Zell Hester.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Elgrin and Evelyn Scoggins Brown, and grandparents, Mrs. Otis Scoggins, and Mr & Mrs. Jodie Brown, all of Laurens County. Survivors include his wife, of forty-eight years, Glenda Brown, of Cadwell; daughter, Susan Brown, of Cadwell; and several first cousins. Louis Mullis, Sammy Braswell, Waldo Pharis, Jack O’Conner, Lonnie Upshaw, and James Bedingfield will serve as pallbearers.
