Janet Patricia O’Steen Morton, age 65, of Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Mrs. Morton was born in Lakeland, FL to the late Grover Cleveland and Janet Lacy O’Steen. She was a runway model in her 20’s, appearing in catalog’s for Sears and Ivey’s Department Store.

Janet was a member of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution, and enjoyed working with children, gardening, and her pugs. Her entire family sends her 1,000 kisses and hugs. Survivors include her husband Allen Hassen, of Dublin; daughter, Jaci Gallagher (Steve), of Dublin; son, Jason Morton, of Orlando, FL; daughter, Casey Morton (Scott), of Gainesville, FL; granddaughter, Kelsie Morton; step-daughter, Miriam Maull (David), of Suwanee, FL; step-sons, Eric Hassen and Aaron Hasson, both of Orlando, FL; 15 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

A memorial service for Mrs. Morton will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, May 16, 2019 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
