Charles “Chuck” W. Trader Sr. passed away surrounded by his family at his home in Springfield, Illinois Saturday December 15, 2018. He was born in Springfield, IL at Memorial Hospital the son of Charles A. and Mary F. (Wolfe) Trader. On May 8, 1964 Charles married his wife Sandy Chastain; together they started a wonderful life.

Chuck was an outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He also loved NASCAR, but had a true affection for driving his semi-truck and even would talk on the cb radio when at home in the garage. He retired in 2002 and was a member of the Teamsters Union for 35 years.

He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher A. Trader; parents; sisters, Brenda and Mary K, and a great grandchild Thealynn Vaughn. He is survived by his wife; children, Melissa K. Richards, Charles W. Trader Jr. (Laura), and Victoria L. Oller (Ron), sister, Carol Patrick; grandchildren; great grandchildren; beloved nieces and nephews, and his in-laws Visitation will be held at Wilson Park Funeral Home 200 E. Main St. Rochester, IL 62563 on Wednesday December 19, 2018 from 12:00 noon till the time of the funeral services at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Rochester cemetery.

Reverend David W. Gessaman will be officiating.
