Charles David Raper, passed away on October 19, 2018, after a short battle with cancer. He was born on May 23, 1951 in Morehead City to Roy Raper and Mary May Raper. He loved his family with all his heart, which was matched only by his love of music.

He was loved by his family and friends and will be sorely missed Charles is survived by his wife, Virginia of 48 years; his three daughters; Stephanie and her husband Thomas, Kimberly, Windy and her husband Brian; grandchildren, David, Steven and wife Crystal, Douglas Jr, Daimon, Hailey, Greg, Ashley, Emerald, and Carl; great grandchildren, Abbigale, Zoey, Natalie, Madalyn and a new addition expected soon, Jaxxon.
