Charles E. Stein, 82, passed away April 22, 2018. He was born in Copley and lived in Garfield Hts. before moving back to Akron in 2008.

Charles served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Our Lady of Victory. He had worked as a Machinist at Lewis Welding then Security for Cleveland BOE and a Warehouse Supervisor at Nasa Lewis Research Center. Charles enjoyed being an amateur radio operator, CB’s, wood carving and leather working.

Charles is survived by his wife, Eleanor “Betsy”; daughter, Karen Ann Stein-Leonard; granddaughters, Katrina and Christina. Visitation will be 10:30 until 11:30 a.m., Friday, April 27, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave. , Tallmadge.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m., Friday following visitation at the church with Fr. Michael Matusz officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406.
