Charles E. Tice III of Youngstown passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in his residence. He was 49. Charles was born in Warren on August 4, 1969, the son of the late Charles E. Sr. and Dorothy Hutchinson Tice.

He attended Niles McKinley High School. Following high school, Charles was employed for the City of Niles Street Department. Mr. Tice always enjoyed the outdoors, from spending time at his favorite fishing spot to surrounding himself in the peace and quiet of nature at his various hunting locations.

Charles was very talented with his hands and self-taught himself many trades, such as working on cars, taxidermy, and could build just about anything he put his mind too. He is survived by 3 children, Ashley Walsh (Joseph) of McDonald, Charles E. Tice IV of Youngstown, and Christine Tice of Warren; 6 sisters, Donna Beal (Bruce) of Austintown, Fran Petherbridge (Andy) of Warren, Cheryl Ellis of Youngstown, Kim Peterson (Jim) of Niles, April Walp of Niles, Holly Farley (Scott) of Niles; 2 grandchildren, Ariana and Joselynn; his ex-wife and longtime friend, Loraine Tice. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a paternal grandmother, Mary Taylor.
