Charles’ Obituary Charles Lee Fellers Charles Lee Fellers, age 70, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehab Center Richmond, Missouri. Charles was born the son of Robert and Grace (McFearson) Fellers on January 5, 1949, at Kansas City, Missouri. He was a 1967 graduate of Independence High School.

Charles attended North West Missouri State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business. In 1974, Charles was united in marriage to Anne Frost at Phoenix, Arizona. She preceded him in death.

Charles loved creating presentations for children about ancient Indian history. He was given the Hopi Indian name “Laughing Fox”. When he lived in Phoenix he piloted the Goodyear blimp.

Charles also wrote the children’s books: “Blue Stone,” “Last Moon for Corn Woman”. Survivors include: one son, Bryan Fellers and wife Kristy of Blue Springs, Missouri; one daughter, Sara Hosman of Independence, Missouri; one brother, Paul Fellers and wife Hazel of Blue Springs, Missouri; one sister, Lois Pieper and husband Gordon of Braymer, Missouri; five grandchildren, Rebeka Hosman, Isaiah, Max, Luke, and Alex Fellers; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Anne.

Graveside services will be held at Tinney Grove Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, May 20, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, May 19, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home , Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, May 19, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Tinney Grove Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rebeka Hosman Education Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillcothe, Missouri, 64601.
