CHARLES RAY PUCKETT, age 72, of Washington CH, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at 9:50 p.m. at Clinton Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 15, 1946 in Fayette County to Charles William and Norma Jean Herron Puckett. He had attended Miami Trace High School.

Charles spent his growing years at the Trinity Christian Union Church in Greenfield. He enjoyed fishing and was a true sports fanatic. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Chad Ihrig; and his brother-in-law, Gary Campbell.

Survivors include his siblings, Gary (Deborah) Puckett, Mary Lou Campbell, Sandra Gragg, and Greg (Alice) Puckett; special friends, Danny Martindale, and Dean Merritt; and his faithful canine companion, Gunner. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Anderson officiating with burial to follow at the Good Hope Cemetery.
