Obituary for Charles Richard Hunter Mr. Charles Richard Hunter, age 84 of Gaylesville, passed away Tuesday, January 1st at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1:PM Thursday, January 3rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Hawkins officiating.

Burial will follow at Faith Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:AM until 1:PM Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers include: Richard Hunter, Thomas Hunter, Brian Penland, Jerry Hunter, Johnny Hunter and Jimmy Hunter.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Joann Hunter; Son, Charles Patrick Hunter (Niki) of Ft. Payne; Teressa Kay Highfield (Gerald) of Gaylesville; Sisters , Joyce Brown of Douglasville, Ga. , Anne Williams of Dallas, Ga.

; Sister-in-law, Doris Hunter; three grandchildren, six greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews remaining. He was preceded in death by his sisters Ruth Hunter McTyre, Sarah Garmon, and Betty Nellajean Walton; Brothers, Lawrence Hunter, Rayford Hunter, Roy Hunter, and Ernest Hunter. Mr. Hunter was the son of James Lester Hunter and Nellie Josephine Austin.

He was a native of Powder Springs and retired from Procter and Gamble. He worked in forestry and farming and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Charles Richard Hunter please visit our Sympathy Store.
