Charles Roscoe Cole, 90, Overland Park, KS, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, January 17, 2019. A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, service 11 AM, on Wednesday, January 23, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS. Burial will follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice, 1500 Meadow Lake Pkwy, Kansas City, MO 64114. Charles was born April 28, 1928 on a farm near Edna, Kansas to George and Lilly Cole. He met the love of his life, Norma, while they were both working at Sears.

They wed shortly after and were happily married 61 years. Charles worked for Sears Roebuck & Co. for 43 years. He also enjoyed building houses in his spare time.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Richard and Gilbert Cole. Charles is survived by his son, Ron Cole (Mary) of Hawaii; daughter, Vicki Alexander (Don) of Overland Park; and granddaughter, Ali.
