Obituary for Charles Stone Mr. Charles Richard Stone, age 85, of Algood, passed away suddenly Tuesday September 25, 2018 at his home. Crematon was chosen and no services are planned. Mr. Stone was born October 24, 1932 in Crossville, TN to the late Robert Thomas and Evelyn Rittenberry Stone.

He was a US Navy veteran having served during the Korean War. Mr. Stone was a retired tool designer with Caterpillar in Aurora, IL with over 30 years of service. He was an avid outdoor sportsman and pool player.

He is survived by three sons, Chuck Stone of Plano, IL, Mike Stone of Sandwich, IL, and Bob (Nancy) Stone of Plainfield, IL; sister, Bonnie Brown of Atlanta,GA; and grandchild, Stevie Rae Stone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Bost; and sister, Katherine Owen. Dyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
