Obituary for Robert Eugene Key Robert Eugene Key, 65 of Gainesboro, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Robert was born Wednesday, October 7, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Richard and Dora Taylor Key. Robert was a loving and caring husband, dad, brother, and grandpa.

He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Robert was a hard worker and he was always there for his friends and family whenever they needed him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and we will cherish the memories of him in our hearts forever.

Robert is survived by: Wife: Kathy Rose (Lee) Key Son: Shane and Wendy Key 2 Stepdaughters: Rachel and Paul Hunt & Tabatha and Scott Gaw Sister: Beth and Roy Gann Nephews: Donnie and Shannon Tayes 11 Grandchildren: Harley Key, Jacob Rushing, Jared Rushing, Justin Rushing, Johnathan Rushing, Jacob Hunt, Courtney Hunt, Austin Gaw, Matthew Gaw, Emma Gaw & Maggie Gaw. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by: Sister, Barbara Jo Key, Brother, Richard “Ricky” Key and Niece, Paulette Knowles. Robert chose cremation, the family followed his wishes and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
