Obituary for Charles T. Richmond Charles Thomas Richmond, age 57 of Clare, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at the MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland. Charles was born the son of the late Thomas and Joan (Champion) Richmond in Hamburg, New York. He was united in marriage to Donna Curtiss on February 14, 2005 in Mt.

Pleasant. Charles had earned an Engineering Degree from Alfred State College in 1983; he had moved from western New York State 15 years ago. He was a Fire System Engineer with Vanguard Fire and Security Systems; he loved knowing that his work helped to save lives.

Having grown up on the western side of New York State, Charles was a passionate fan of the Buffalo Bills, the Buffalo Sabres and the Toronto Blue Jays. Survivors include his wife Donna; children Misti (Joshua) Smith of Clare and Christopher (David Garza) Janderwski of Harrison Twp. ; siblings Sam (Debra) of Mobile, Alabama and Mark (Mary) of Brevard, North Carolina; grandchildren Hunter and Austin Smith; his nieces and nephews Mike, Shaun, Thomas, Daniel, Celia, Amarech and Senait, and his mother and father-in-law Virginia and Richard Curtiss.

Visitation and services will be held at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M.
