Charles Young, age 72, of Erwin, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Johnson City, Charles is a son of the late Charles Wesley and Sara Frances (Correll) Young, Sr He is a member of Erwin Church of God where he served as the Head Usher.

He was a SciFi fan and enjoyed cars and collecting Star Wars memorabilia. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his half-sister, Wanda Young. Charles Young leaves behind to cherish his memory: Loving wife: Gwendolyn Ann Young; Daughter: Kimberly Ann Young; Sisters: Teddy Hammer, Nancy Corbin; Beloved furbabies: Snowflake, Salem.

A memorial Service will be held at a later date. An inurnment service will held at a later date in Mountain Home National Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family and viewed at www.
