Obituary of Charles Yunker ST. JOHNSVILLE – Charles M. Yunker, age 68, of County Highway 108, town of Oppenheim, passed away on Thursday March 22, 2018 privately at his residence. Born on July 14, 1949 in Malvern , Arkansas , Charles Yunker was the son of Louis N. and Orene S. (Scott) Yunker.

He and his wife, the former Janice (Rose), lived for many years at Allen Heights and most recently have enjoyed the beautiful country in the town of Oppenheim where he could sit outside, enjoy the fresh air and scenery, and where inevitably he comfortably passed. He worked as a courier and distributed the Leader Herald and then for Lexington in Oppenheim in their maintenance department. We have spent time remembering how he loved to read, even upward and over 15 books a week!

Charles loved to fish and play scrabble and was very fond of his special cat, TAZ. He is survived by his wife, Janice, his children, Aaron Yunker of Michigan , Melissa Nelson and her husband Ian of Michigan, Carrie Bertucci and her husband Nathan of Wisconsin, and a step-son David Krause of Ballston Spa, many siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and In-Laws. Funeral services at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center Street in St. Johnsville , NY will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.

David A. Johnson, officiating. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral services.
