Charlie Lloyd Hickman, a resident of Sulphur was born March 21, 1922 in Hennepin, OK to Henry & Mary Cansada (Yancy) Hickman. He passed away Friday May 24, 2019 at Sulphur, OK at the age of 97 years2 months and 3 days. He was married to Stella M (Biby) Hickman at Sulphur on October 10, 1942.

She preceded him in death April 8, 2017 Charlie grew up in this area, attended Woodland schools. He had lived in California for 5 years. He served in the US Army during WWII serving in Germany.

After his service he returned to Sulphur. Charlie worked for Carl Williams Propane and later worked for Wilbert Vaults until his retirement. Charlie was a member of the Memorial Freewill Baptist Church.

He was also preceded in death by His Parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and 1 grandchild. Survived by his Daughter: Charlene Hickman, Michigan 3 Sons: Don Hickman of Sulphur, OK Glen Hickman, of Sulphur, OK Ralph Hickman & wife Christi, of Cushing, OK Sister: Jessie Morrison, of Quitman, TX 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great great Grandchildren Services will be held Tuesday May 28, 2019 at 2:30PM at Memorial Freewill Baptist Church officiated by Ralph Hickman.
