Charlotte Grace Elliott Obituary Photo

Charlotte Grace Elliott went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2019 at the age of 7, cuddled by her adoring family. She battled long and bravely against the mutation in her KCNB1 gene which caused, among other things, catastrophic epilepsy. Charlotte was a precious part of so many lives.

Her family remembers her as sweet and happy, full of smiles and giggles. Charlotte loved to bounce, chew, cuddle, and kick. She loved to be around people, and enjoyed the chaos of everyday life.

School was a favorite activity, where she got to do fun things and see her friends. The nurses who helped care for Charlotte were members of the family, and to them we will be forever grateful. What an amazing life she has led.

She has done things that some only dream of, and we got to go along for the ride! Charlotte was a traveler. From the Atlantic to the Pacific Coast; down to the Gulf and up to Montana, Charlotte has seen and experienced so much beauty.

She loved to take in the scenery as it passed by. She was always up for an adventure, and she loved excitement! She was always peeking out from under her shade umbrella!

She inspired us to live a life without fear, going on wonderful adventures, making wonderful friends, creating wonderful memories! Our lives are richer because she was with us. Everywhere she went she drew people in with her infectious smile and her courageous story.

Charlotte is Survived by her parents, Jake and Andi; her sisters, Audrey and Madisen; her paternal grandparents, Larry and Deb Elliott; her maternal grandparents, Gary and Pam Baker; her aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Mark Meyer, Nikki and Steve Byrd, Chris and Shayla Hickerson, Mark and Maria Baker, Shelbi and Jasmond Heenan, Dusty Baker; and her many cousins. Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 23rd at Open Door Bible Church in Belton. Visitation is from 1-3pm with service at 3.
