CEDAR FALLS-Charlotte H. Rogers, 92, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Western Home Communities-Martin Center. She was born September 7, 1926, in Ackley, Iowa, the daughter of Charles H. and Sophie Maifield Griffith. She married Howard R. Rogers February 8, 1946 in Waterloo, IA.

He died April 24, 2011. Charlotte was employed as a telephone operator with Northwestern Bell and later worked at Santa Claus Industries and Waterloo Industries . Survived by: daughter, Linda (Ronnie) Oltrogge of Ackley, IA; three grandchildren, Mike Oltrogge of Leicester, NC, Stacy Oltrogge of Marshalltown, IA, and Jesse Oltrogge Melbourne, FL; four great-grandchildren, James Scott, Jeanene Scott, Kenna Scott, and Dwayne Scott; and two sisters, Drusilla Richtsmeier of Florida and Irma G. Weatherwax of Vinton, IA.

Preceded in death by: daughter, Roberta Rogers; two sisters, Grace G. Smith and Gladys G. Norte; and brother, Charles D. Griffith. Services 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Richardson Funeral Service, with interment in the Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
