Charlotte Miller, age 73, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, December 21, 2018 at Wooster Community Hospital, Wooster, Ohio following a brief illness. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. A private family burial will take place at Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering on Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. with a service beginning at 3 p.m. at Millersburg Baptist Church with pastor James Jamison officiating. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting www. alexanderfhinc.com.

Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Millersburg Baptist Church missions fund. Charlotte was born April 17, 1945 in Holmes County, Ohio and was the daughter of John Thomas and Mabel Fern (Brown) Wilson. On June 2, 1992 she married Levi L. Miller and he survives.

Charlotte worked 34 years as Executive Administrative Secretary of Pomerene Hospital. She was a member of the Millersburg Baptist Church, where she thoroughly enjoyed volunteering as church secretary. Charlotte enjoyed bird watching in her backyard, traveling to visit with family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was an avid reader, collected Bibles and played the accordion. Surviving in addition to her husband, Levi are two children and three stepchildren, Michael Todd (partner, Michael Hulme) Schonauer of Wilmington, Delaware, Amy (Romeo) Bermudez of northern New Jersey, Kevin (Jamie) Miller of Walnut Creek, Deb (John) Kline of Winesburg, and Wendell (friend, Lisa Fanning) Miller of Walnut Creek; six grandchildren, Audrey, Robinson and Jeremy Bermudez, Shauna and Emma Kline, and JD (Lori) Houmard; three great-grandchildren, Lila, Bennett and Jack; and one sister, Judith “Jamie” Krauss of South Carolina. She was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Alice Wilson; and a son, Gregory Schonauer.
