Cheryl A. Anniccharico, 61 a lifelong resident of Dobbs Ferry passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2019 at Phelps Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 4, 1958 at St John’s Hospital to Anthony and Eleanor Buchant Anniccharico. Cheryl graduated from Dobbs Ferry High School in 1976 and received an Associate’s Degree from Westchester Community College.

After graduation Cheryl worked as an Assistant Teacher for 15 years at Hudson Valley Day Care and pursued her career as head teller at Sunnyside Federal Savings and Loan for 16 years. She recently worked at Family Home HealthCare as a receptionist. Cheryl has traveled to many places but especially loved the trips to Disney World with her niece and nephews.

She showed her passion for baking and cooking through her holiday cookies and Sunday dinners with the family. Cheryl’s kind, considerate, and devotion to help others will always be remembered by her family and friends. Cheryl is survived by her mother Eleanor Anniccharico, brother Gary, niece Angela, nephews Mark, Matthew, Nicky, Justin and great nephew Andrew and many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave. , Dobbs Ferry, NY on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 AM on Friday at our Lady of Pompeii Church.

Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Those who wish to remember Cheryl in a special way may make a donation to American Heart Association in Cheryl’s honor To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Cheryl Anniccharico please visit our Sympathy Store.
