Obituary for Chieftain G Doering Chieftain G. Doering, 61, a resident of Sulphur passed from this life on October 19, 2018 with his family at his side. Chieftain was a wonderful husband and amazing father. He loved his five grandchildren immensely.

He will be remembered for his love of fishing and laughter. Mr. Doering was a maintenance director for local nursing homes and leaves a legacy characterized by his work ethic and his compassion for the residents. Mr. Doering is predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Mary Francis Tucker Doering.

Cheiftain leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Brenda Carlin Doering of Sulphur, son, Raymond Doering and wife Terra of Sheridan, Arkansas, step-children Melanie Mimnaugh and husband Shane of Lake Charles, Michael Mora and fiancé David Spicer of Sulphur, Mitchell Mora and wife Teressa of Lake Charles, five grandchildren, Chance Doering, Taylor and Korey Mora, Douglas Spicer, and Tristan Stallion, one sister Mona Sanders and husband Steve of Conway, Arkansas, and numerous brothers- and sisters-in- laws. Mr. Doering’s cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home of Lake Charles. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
