Obituary for CHRIS EDWARD CHARLES CHARLES, Chris Edward, age 64, of Carlisle, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 26, 1954 in Middletown, Ohio and lived in this area all his life. He graduated from Carlisle High School Class of 1972.

Chris was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Mound Laboratories for 32 years. Preceding him in death were his parents, Verlin and Rosa Pauline (Harbison) Charles; and one brother, Larry Charles. He is survived by one daughter, Misty (Christopher) Trehane; one granddaughter, Scarlett; two sisters, Merry Kay (Fred) Tipton and Charline Creager; Misty’s mother, Lawanda Charles; three nephews, two nieces; four great nephews; three great nieces; and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by services at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Buddy Rose officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, Ohio 45044.
