Obituary of Christina Irene Phelps Funeral services for Christina Irene Phelps, age 50, of Jonesville, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Standard Baptist Church in Olla with Bro. Shad Tibbs officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the church.

Christina was born June 24, 1968 to the union of Elvin Ray and Betty Irene Phelps in Alexandria and she passed from this life on October 14, 2018 at Jena Nursing Home. Christina was a member of Standard Baptist Church. She was beautiful inside and out and loved helping other people.

She loved her family, her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father: Elvin Ray Phelps. She is survived by her husband: John Stapleton; her daughter: Candice Phelps and her fiancé Bruce Weirich; mother: Betty Irene Phelps; sisters: Charlotte Lee and her husband Donald Lee; Cindy Phelps; Charmin Dodson and her husband Danny Joe Dodson; grandchildren: Jayda Phelps and Keenan Weirich; numerous nieces and nephews.
