Obituary for Christina Chisholm (Crane) Somerville MA and Wells, ME. Christina Mary Chisholm, 90, a resident of Somerville, MA, formerly of Wells ME, died Monday, July 9, 2018 in Somerville, MA following a period of failing health with her family at her side. Christina was born in Boston, December 13, 1927, the daughter of the late John j and Christina (Quirk) Crane, and is a graduate of Cambridge Latin School.

She grew up in east Cambridge and lived in Somerville and Arlington for many years, and was employed with New England Telephone. Married John V Chisholm on sept 17, 1949 at Sacred Heart Church in east Cambridge, MA. They were married 49 years before John died Oct 19, 1998 in Wells, ME.

Moving to Maine in the early 1980’s, together with her husband operated the Second Time Around Shop and an Guest House for several years. To know her was to love her. She was known for her great sense of humor which she maintained throughout her illness.

Christina was proud of her Irish roots, loved spending time with friends and family, enjoyed reading, crocheting, making cards, doing puzzles and playing games, especially bingo, and she played a mean game of scrabble. In her retirement, she resided in Ozona and Tarpon Springs, FL. She is predeased by her brothers, infant John, Thomas, James and Edward crane.

Christina is survived by her five children; Christine Val Perry (John), Elizebeth Chisholm, John V Chisholm (Carol Deshler), Jeanne Chisholm ( Rory Leombruni) and Barbara Britt (Robert), nine grandchildren; Joyel Morris (Michael), John V Chisholm (Shannon Lyons), Ian Chisholm (Jennifer), Deirdre Johnson (Kevin), Kurt Chisholm (Courtney) , Cecily Vigeant (Jeffrey), Christopher Shonting, Kristy and Keith Perry; twelve great grandchildren. Micheala , Lauchlen and Chisholm Morris and Darwin Chisholm, Tyler, Austin and Summer Chisholm, Brayden, Kyleigh and Adeline Johnson. Gavin Chisholm, and Charlotte Vigeant.
