Obituary for Christina M. Roberts 1931-2018 Christina M. Roberts, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on May 28, 2018. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. She loved to dance and she loved going to the Isleta Casino and the sevens were her numbers.
Christina loved her family dearly and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren were the light of her soul. She loved her crossword puzzles, which she worked on every day to “keep my mind sharp” she would say. Christina loved playing Skipo and the only time you would win is because she would let you.
She is preceded in death by her husband J.L. Roberts, Sr., daughter Linda L. Gray, parents J. Evangesisto Montoya, Tomasita Montoya, several brothers and sisters. Christina is survived by daughter, Yvonne Olguin (Ryan), Jack L. Roberts, Jr. (Pauline), Curtis, Richard (Silvia), Kathy Chavez (Gilbert), Leroy Roberts (Kellie), Barbara Wilmore (Mike), sister Melva Apodaca. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Olguin, Dennis Chavez, Jeremy Pino, Adam, Cynthia and Michelle Roberts.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Roberts, Jr. and Lidia Reyes and Jennifer Otero. Thank you to special grandkids, Jessica Arvizo (Nathen), Johnathan Olguin and Fiance Lidia Reyes and Daughter-in-Law Calista Haskins and special friends Theresa Chenae and Luisa Sisneros. All Services will take place at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.
A Public Viewing will take place on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at 5:00 PM, a Rosary at 6:00 PM, with a final Visitation on Friday, June 1, 2018, at 9:00 AM, a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM and Interment will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery.
