Christina A. Smith, 64, of Canton, went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on August 24, 1953 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Harold and Loretta (Tanz) Hoffman. She married Dwight Smith on September 14, 1996 and they shared 21 loving years together.

Christina worked at Sanitary Linen where she had 27 years of services. In her spare time, she enjoyed gambling and was known for being lucky. She also loved to travel to Niagara Falls with her husband, attend family gatherings and the drive-inn.

Christina and Dwight also fostered two children which were very close to their hearts. She will be deeply missed by her husband Dwight; siblings Sissy (Joe) Decico, Linda (Danny) Roush, Harold “Bud” (Pat) Hoffman and Bill Hoffman; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Christina was preceded in death by her son George “Scotty” Hoffman and sisters Shirley Scholey, Carol Baker and Janet King.

A celebration of Christina’s life will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon from 2-4 p.m. with a service following at 4 p.m. To send flowers or a remembrance gift to the family of Christina Smith, please visit our Tribute Store.
