OBITUARY Christine M. HARRIS April 17, 1921 – November 5, 2018 Mrs. Christine Morton Harris, 97, passed away from this life Monday November 5, 2018 at her home in Cleveland. Born in Piedmont, SC she is the daughter of the late Christopher Morton and Molly Tinsley Morton and wife of the late James C Harris. Mrs. Harris was a member of Midway Baptist church and retired form Ruth Fashions as a branch manager.

Survivors include two daughters; Jennette H. Porter of Piedmont, Mary H. Timmons of Cleveland, one son; James C. Harris Jr of Gastonia North Carolina, and one sister Addie Lee Lollis of Piedmont. She is predeceased by a sister; Mildred Whitney, four brothers; R.L Morton, Milford Morton, Clyde Morton and John Allen Martin. Mrs. Harris also leaves 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren to share in her memory.

A visitation will be held Thursday November 8, 2018 1 pm until 2pn at Dillard Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be held at Grove Station Baptist Church Cemetery in Piedmont, South Carolina.
