OBITUARY Gene Granger July 29, 1938 – December 29, 2018 Gene E. Granger Easley – Gene Elliott Granger, 80, husband of Harriett Phillips King past from this life on Saturday December 29, 2018. Mr. Granger was born in Greenville County, a son of the late William and Ruth Adeline Lesley Granger. He was a lifelong auto body repair technician having retired from Fairway Ford in Greenville following 20 years’ service.

Mr. Granger was a member of Elljean Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of six years, Harriett King of the home, sons, Timothy Eugene Granger of Easley and Ronald Kevin Granger (Teresa) of Easley and a daughter Tammy Denise King (Russell) of Pickens. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a brother, William Junior “Butch” Granger (Doris).

The family will receive friends Wednesday January 2, 2019 from 2 to 3:15 PM at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens with funeral services following in the funeral home chapel at 3:30 PM. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A message of condolence may be expressed to the family by visiting www.
