Christopher Dean Wilon Sept 13, 1959 – October 26, 2018 It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce Christopher Dean Wilson has been promoted to glory on October 26, 2018. He passed away at home from complications of C.O.P.D. Chris was born in Denver to Roy and Corrine Wilson.

He graduated from Arvada High School in 1977. He moved to Summit County and let his entrepreneurial spirit soar, specializing in radiator repair. He was known best by those who loved him as a hard working man, prankster and lover of animals-to the extent of cuddling on the couch with goats, to feeding horses carrots from his mouth.

He is preceeced in death by his parents; infant son Travis Michael and stepmother Marjorie M Talley. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Janice K Wilson; daughter, Samantha P Tatro (Maj. Steve Tatro) of Alamogordo, NM; son, Ryan C Wilson (Kaitlyn) of Florissant; four grandchildren; his sister Tracy Lee of Battle Creek, MI; stepsister Maryanne Havens and stepbrother David Havens, both of Golden; a nephew and many cousins.

Chris’s celebration of life will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday Nov. 10, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 785 Apache Trail, Woodland Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
