Obituary for C.J. Morris Christopher John “C.J.” Morris, age 30 of Clarksville, Tennessee, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Skyline Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 o’clock pm, Tuesday, September 18th at the 24 Church in Pleasant View with Pastor Chris Royalty officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville with Brandon Morris, Andy Hardy, Brad Weatherby, Timmy Nixon, Shawn Frieler, Clay Norman, Josh James, Jake Johnson, Chief Trey Nelms, and Captain James Parks serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the 24 Church on Monday, September 17th, from 3:00-8:00PM and again on Tuesday beginning at 10:00AM until the hour of service at noon. C.J. was born on October 7, 1987 in Nashville, Tennessee to Wayne and Lisa Morris. He loved his family and cherished his wife and daughters.

He loved his work family at Cumberland Tractor and Equipment. Since 2015, he has been dedicated to the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department. C.J was a friend to all.

He was a member of the 24 Church in Pleasant View. C.J. is preceded in death by his grandmother, Evelyn Morris; grandfather, Charles Linton; and an aunt, Rosylan Gupton. Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Shelli Morris; daughters, Rylee and Addyson Morris; brother, Brandon Morris; grandfather, Charles Morris; grandmother, Mary Linton; aunt, Karen Fails; and mother-in-law, Dena (Larry) Slate.
