Efird, 84 passed away on February the 4th, 2019 at White Oak Manor in Waxhaw. She was born in Union County on June the 12th, 1934 to the late Charles Lee & Florence Tarlton Griffin. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Jimmy Lee Efird.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her 3 brothers: Mr. Archie Griffin, Mr. R.P. Griffin, and Mr. Wayne Griffin. Funeral Services will be 3pm Friday, February the 8th, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 2pm until 2:45pm prior to the service. She is survived by her three daughters: Sue E. Ratliff of Monroe, Mrs. Patsy E. Houston and her husband Bobby of Huntersville and Mrs. Lee E. Price and her husband Mark of Marshville. One brother Mr. Jerry Griffin and his wife Betty of Monroe.

The family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 Roosevelt Blvd W. Monroe, NC 28112, and to New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 5928 New Hope Church Road, Marshville, NC 28103 Online condolences may be made at morganandsonfuneralhome.com.
