Obituary for Mrs. Clara Traber Holliday Clara Traber Holliday, age 92, of Brookhaven, GA, peacefully passed away to join her Lord and Savior on her 92nd birthday, Tuesday, July 25, 2018. Funeral services for Clara will be held on Monday, July 30th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at University Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Ledford officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 30th, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, July 30th, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at West View Cemetery, Liberty, South Carolina. Clara was a faithful member of University Baptist Church for over 15 years.

Clara truly believed in Ephesians 4:32 “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you”. Clara worked at a Telegraph Operator & Depot Agent for Southern Railway during WWII. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She enjoyed crocheting and loved to bake. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, James Carlton Holliday Sr; daughter, Susan Jane Holliday Head. She is survived by her son, James Carlton Holliday Jr; daughter, Jeanette Holliday Weeks and son-in-law, Ed; brothers, Robert and wife Ruth Traber, and Marvin Traber; sister, Dorothy Watt and husband Fred; grandchildren, Jeff Weeks, Kim Weeks, Jenni Weeks Kauffman and husband Lane, Jamey Holliday and wife Colleen, Jason Bradford, and Melissa Bradford Inman; great-grandchildren, Emily, J.T., Cole, Blane, Lexie, Jake, Knox, Levi, Jolee, Tori, and Brinley; great-great-grandson, Isaiah.
