Obituary for Clarence E. Henley Clarence E. Henley, 78, of Streetman, Texas passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born to Burell Thomas Henley and Alice Henley on November 6, 1939 in Fitzgerald, Georgia. The state of Texas lost a true patriot on October 29, 2018.

Clarence served in the U.S. Navy and National Guard. Mr. Henley settled in Texas in 1980. He and his wife, Barb, who was the love of his life, picked their property by Richland Chambers Reservoir for its beauty and its ranching.

Clarence loved fishing, hunting, farming and reading. He was truly a wealth of knowledge. Clarence was always lending a helping hand.

Even as he became sick he would still help anyone who asked. Clarence was true to his beliefs in God and America. He was preceded in death by his parents, B.J. and Alice Henley; brother, Tom Henley; sisters, Willene and Geneva and his daughter, Nicki who passed away at a young age.

Clarence is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Barb Henley; son, Paul Henley; daughter, Susan Henley; grandchildren, Justin, Christina and Monica; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Clarence was a good man, father, friend and an American Patriot. Rest in peace Clarence – you will be missed by many and remembered by all.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Corley Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, November 2, 2018 at Birdston Cemetery at 12:00 PM with Mr. Jack Ikey officiating. An online guestbook is available at www.
