Clarence Lee Turney, age 53, of Sanford, NC, died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at First Health Hospice House in Moore County. He was born in Moore County, on June 22, 1965, to Anna Jane McCoy Turney and the late Julius Jacklean Turney. Mr. Turney was employed by This End Up where he built and designed furniture.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Susan Elizabeth Renfro Turney of the home; two sons, Christopher Lee Turney and Daisy of Sanford, Dylan Reed Turney of Cameron; one stepson, Justin Lee Harrington of Sanford; a daughter, Cara Dianne Turney of Sanford; a brother Charles Turney of Sanford; four sisters, Cathy Gutierrez of Sanford, Barbara Thomas of Sanford, Betty McLeod and Donnie of Goldston, and Phyllis Patterson of Sanford; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, from 11AM until the funeral hour at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.

The funeral will follow at 1PM with Rev. Don Flynn presiding. Burial will be held at Mt.
