Clay “Allen” Wiles July 10, 1951 – May 26, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book East Bend Mr. Clay “Allen” Wiles, 67, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at his home. Mr. Wiles was born July 10, 1951 in Wilkes County to Clay Thomas Wiles and Patsy Bauguess Wiles Dudley. He was a member of Faith Community Baptist Church.

Allen enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and farm animals and listening to bluegrass music. In addition to his father, Allen was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Wiles; and step father, Ray Dudley. He is survived by his loving mother; his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Cathy Rhodes Wiles; three sons, Timothy Allen (Tammy) Wiles, Dusty Clayworth (Kristen) Wiles, and Joshua Edward (Katherine) Wiles; grandchildren, Katie, Tyler, Casie (Robbie), Maggie Leigh, Luke Edward, and Jacob Lee; two great grandchildren, Aiden and Adalyn; two sisters, Deborah (Bernard) Benge and Patricia (Michael) Friel; nephews, Chris, David, Justin, and Clay Friel and Stephen and Rodney Benge; and great nieces and nephews, Ezra, Adagrace, Nora, Jackson, Hannah and Madelyn.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Tuesday evening at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30AM, Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Faith Community Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Poindexter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Wiles will lie in state from 11:00 to 11:30AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Community Baptist Church, PO Box 99 East Bend, NC 27018. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Faith Community Baptist Church, Yadkin County EMS, Forbush Fire Dept.
