Obituary for Clayton Dean Smith Clay never knew a stranger. As a nature lover he felt it his duty to protect all creatures great and small. Known as “Mr. Fix-It”, he always did his best to live up to his name.

He was a Marine who served in Vietnam from 1969 through 1972. He always searched for levity in the face of adversity. Clay was the best son, brother, father, grandfather, companion and friend anyone could ever ask for.

His wild and free spirt will be remembered by us all! A memorial service with military honors will be held Friday, October 5th at 11am, at the Tallahassee National Cemetery, 5015 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32311.
