Obituary for Mr. Ferry “Jimmy” Freeman Jr Mr. Ferry Freeman, Jr. “Jimmy” Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. John Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Ferry “Jimmy” Freeman, Jr., 59, who entered eternal rest, Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Basile Care Center. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park.

Rev. Ronald Freeman, Sr. will officiate at the service. Mr. Freeman is survived by his mother, Myrtlene Tezeno Freeman; his children, Wyatt Freeman (Daisha), Yolanda Fontenot, Florencia Freeman, Courtney Freeman, Bianca Doomes, Talaina Freeman, Janelle Freeman, Alonzo Leday, Adrian Freeman and Lois Melvin; three brothers, Rev.

Ronald Freeman, Sr. (Adalasar), Nolan Freeman and Joseph Freeman (Angela); three sisters, Norma Fontenot (Lonnie), Denise Freeman and Angela Freeman; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his father, Ferry Freeman, Sr.; a son, Marvel Freeman; a brother, Michael Freeman; three sisters, Angela K. Freeman, Jeanette Tezeno and Margaret Thomas. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. John Baptist Church.
