Obituary for Mr. Lawrence Xavier Taylor Jr Mr. Lawrence Xavier Taylor, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 7, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, LA, for Mr. Lawrence Xavier Taylor, Jr., 79, who entered eternal rest, Friday August 31, 2018 at Amelia Manor Nursing Home in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his former wife, Elaine Taylor of Baton Rouge, LA; two sons, Lawrence Xavier Taylor, III (Suzanne) of Litchfield Park, AZ and Marlin Smith of Baton Rouge, LA; a granddaughter, Bryn Elaine of Litchfield Park, AZ; a sister, Jeanette Williams (Pat) of Grand Coteau, LA; two nieces, Sharon Williams (Carlos) and Anita Williams; three great nephews, Patrick Singletary, Dontravious Hallcy and Marquis Butler; two great nieces, Amory Singletary and Kimble Hallcy; two great-great nieces, Teyler Johns and Kennedy Gilchrist; a special friend, Sandra Landry of Hammond, LA and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Xavier Taylor, Sr. & Mary Alice Richard Taylor. Visiting hours will be observed from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, September 7, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
