Obituary for Mrs. Ella Mae Edwards Mrs. Ella Mae Edwards Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mrs. Ella Mae Edwards, 92, who entered eternal rest, Monday, October 15, 2018 at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in St. Landry Catholic Cemetery. Father Rofinus Jas, SVD will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by five sons, James Guillory of Houston, TX, Warren Edwards, Phillip Edwards, Willie Stoute, Sr. and Paul Edwards all of Opelousas, LA; four daughters, Linda Rideau, Veronica Savoie both of Houston, TX, Joyce Guillory and Mary Davis both of Opelousas, LA; 28 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip & Elizabeth Guillory; her husband, Floyd Edwards; two children, John Stoute and Elizabeth Reed; three grandchildren, Angela Savoie, Charles Rideau, Jr. and Troy Hicks; two great grandchildren, Khloe and Ivy’Nieca Rideau; eight brothers and three sisters. Visiting hours will be observed from 7:00 AM to 12:45 PM Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Williams Funeral Home.
