Obituary for Kierra Dior Gardiner Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018, 1:30 P.M. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Grand Coteau, Louisiana for Kierra Dior Gardiner, 18. Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Kierra Dior Gardiner was born on February 7, 2000 to Julius Craig and Karen Broussard Gardiner in Lafayette, Louisiana.
She quietly departed this life on Thursday, August 30, 2018. She attended Beau Chene High School and graduated with the class of 2018. She was accepted and planning to attend Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Kierra lived a beautiful life. She loved shopping, spending time with friends, watching YouTube, and traveling with family. She also loved the 90s and her favorite color was gray.
Her uniqueness spoke to her character. She was a very intuitive young lady with a loving spirit and zest for life. Left to cherish her memories: her parents Julius Craig and Karen Broussard Gardiner of Sunset, LA, her sister Kelsey Gardiner of Sunset, LA, her maternal grandmother Mary Lee Broussard of Church Point, LA, her paternal grandmother Ruby Gardiner of Grand Coteau, LA, her aunts and uncles: Peter (Candice) Broussard, Pearland, TX, Alcinda “Nanny” (Albert) James, Church Point, LA, Bryon Broussard, Church Point, LA, Dedrick (Angele) Broussard, Opelousas, LA, Harvey (Judy) Gardiner, Cary, NC, and John Allen (Regina) Gardiner, Lafayette, LA.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Clifton Broussard, her paternal grandfather Rodney Gardiner, and her aunt Ann Cornell Broussard. The family request visiting hours be observed on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 9:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, Louisiana. Rosary will be recited at 11:00 A.M.
