Obituary for Mrs. Mary Ann Marshall Mrs. Mary Ann Marshall Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mrs. Mary Ann Marshall, 77, who entered eternal rest, Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Garden of Memory. Mrs. Marshall is survived by her children, Herbert Marshall of Opelousas, LA, Michelle Marshall of Opelousas, LA and Joseph Marshall, Jr. of San Diego, CA; twelve siblings, Joseph Bernard Chevis (Audrey) of Opelousas, LA, Mary Shirley Chavis Donato both of Opelousas, LA, Cecilia Chavis J. Lemelle (Clifton) of Eunice, LA, Joseph Raymond Chavis (Debra) of Arnaudville, LA, Catherine Chavis Colomb of Arnaudville, LA, Vincent Paul Chevis (Donna), Kenneth Michael Chavis, Jennifer Castille (Ray Bradshaw) of Portland, OR, Joseph Wilson Chevis (Alice), Mary Betty Chavis Sam (Kerry), Peter Canisus Chevis and Byron Charles Chavis (Melanie) all of Opelousas, LA; seven grandchildren, Jamar Marshall, Jazmonque Marshall, Zarian Marshall, Sa’Ni Marshall, Julian Marshall, Savion Marshall and Sophia Marshall; one great grandchild, Kamari; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Peter Marshall, Sr.; parents, Victoria Stelly Chevis & John Chevis, Jr.; a brother, Warren Anthony Chevis; a sister, Delores Ann Chevis Eaglin; two brothers-in-law, Hamilton Donato and Chester Paul Jean. Visiting hours will be observed from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, October 26, 2018 at Williams Funeral Home. Visiting hours will resume on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 7:00 AM at Williams Funeral Home.
