Obituary for Mrs. Ann Carolyn Mitchell Lemelle Mrs. Ann Carolyn Mitchell Lemelle Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, LA, for Mrs. Ann Carolyn Mitchell Lemelle, 77, who entered eternal rest, Friday, September 7, 2018 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in St. Leo the Great Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Lemelle is survived by her husband, George R. Lemelle, Sr. of Opelousas, LA; two children, George R. Lemelle, Jr. (Michelle) of Opelousas, LA and Paula Lemelle Davis (Terry) of Leonville, LA; a brother, Alfred Mitchell (Vernell) of Lafayette, LA and Emily Lemons (William) of Houston, TX; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lemelle was preceded in death by her parents, Noah & Melia Mitchell; two sisters, Alice Vital and Leola Callier; two brothers, Alvin Mitchell and Robert Mitchell. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Share words of comfort with the Lemelle family at www.
