OBITUARY Clayton Edward Parker January 8, 1938 – July 13, 2018 Clayton Edward Parker, 80, of DeWitt (Sandy Pines and Zephryhills FL) passed away peacefully on Friday, July 13, 2018. He was born January 8, 1938 in Lansing, Michigan to Edward and Maryellen (Peltier) Parker and graduated from Eastern High School before attending Great Lakes Bible College. He owned and operated “Pat’s Little Wheels” selling and repairing golf carts and “Helping People” for the last 40 years.

A kind and loving man, Clayton was involved for many years with the Masons as well as the DeWitt Breakfast Lions Club, serving as an Ambassador for the Eye Bank for 12 years. He was a printer and graphics designer for many years before starting his own business, “Parker Enterprises” where he began many small business operations including engraving badges and silk screening. He volunteered many hours with DeWitt Public Schools and enjoyed clowning as “Bodangles”!

A man of many talents! He loved all children and was especially proud of his 4 great grandchildren who always made him smile! He loved dogs and always had a special treat for those that visited the shop!

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Parker. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Patricia (Sandel) Parker; Daughters, Michelle Parker (Mike Sheehan) and Melinda (Rod) Bach; Grandchildren, Brooke Bach (Ryan) DeBoer, Allison Kelly, Kelsey Kelly (Matt) Washburn, Tyler (Laura Worden) Bach and Elizabeth Sheehan; Great-Grandchildren, Owen, Luke, and Isabelle DeBoer and Nolan Jansen; Sister-in-laws, Jean Parker and Barbara Clarke; and Special Nephew/Son, Dana (Ann Volz) Parker. The family is planning a Celebration of Life at the Sandy Pines Chapel on August 4th at 2:00 p.m. In honor of Clay, please consider a memorial donation to the Sandy Pines Handicapped Playground Fund to continue his legacy of helping people and his love of children.
